Music Guild & Concerts at St. Thomas

The St. Thomas Music Guild is committed to enhancing the church’s involvement in the greater surrounding community by enriching the creative arts through regularly scheduled musical offerings. We endeavor to build relationships that lead to connection, hospitality and fellowship.

  • The Art of Lyricism / Songs Without Words: Sunday, October 5 at 2:00 PM

  • Fauré Requiem: Sunday, November 2 at 5:00 PM

  • New Year’s Eve Celebration Concert: Wednesday, December 31 at 7:30 PM

  • Valentine’s Day Concert: Saturday, February 14 at 7:30 PM

  • Bach Birthday Bash: Sunday, March 22 at 2:00 PM

  • Governor’s Chamber Music Series Concert: Two Pianos Forty Fingers: Sunday, May 3 at 2:00 PM

We endeavor to build relationships with the community that lead to connection and hospitality, and fellowship.

To achieve our vision we will adhere to the following values and guiding principles:

  • Excellence: To strive for the highest level of artistic excellence with innovative, creative programming considered from the perspective of our greater community  as well as within the church.

  • Relevance: To provide live music and engaging experiences and meaningful learning opportunities. To collaborate with others to build relationships and extend St. Thomas’s outreach into the community

 

  • Financial Sustainability: To operate sustainably and responsibly, balancing mission with budgetary accountability and discipline. We intend to be self-sustaining with donations and grants.

 

  • Inclusion:To embrace inclusion, diversity, equity and access (IDEA) as values that will inform programming and marketing.
