Middle & High School Youth Group
At St. Thomas, we have an active youth group that includes both middle schoolers (grades 6-8) and high schoolers (grades 9-12). In general, we meet every other Sunday evening from September-June for youth group. Middle schoolers come at 5pm and stay until 7. High schoolers come at 6, share dinner with the middle schoolers, and stay until 8. We also have many other activities throughout the year.
Fall 2024 Youth Events
September 22 – Kickoff Event: Pizza & Swim Party, Noon-4! Join us for pizza at church at Noon followed by swim time from 2-3:45pm at Snohomish Aquatic Center. Bring $10 to cover entrance tickets.
October 6 – St. Francis Day Pet Blessing, Noon-2:30. Make homemade treats for our furry friends following church, then help staff our pop-up St. Francis pet blessing in Medina Park across from church from 1-2:30pm.
October 13 – Harvest Festival at Swan Trail Farms, Snohomish, Noon-4pm. Join us for an old-fashioned fall afternoon of apple picking, pumpkins, hayrides, and corn mazes. We’ll leave St. Thomas at Noon and return by approximately 4pm. Cost is $20. Please RSVP at Edmund@stthomasmedina.org by October 1 so we can secure tickets.
October 20 – College Care Package Making Night & Dinner, 5-8pm. Join us as we send lots of love to St. Thomas young adults who are in college.
October 27 – Halloween Party after the 10am Service, 11:30am-1pm. Youth help is needed to staff game tables for younger children!
November 3 – All Souls Day Requiem & Dinner 5-7:30pm. All Souls Day is a day when we remember and honor the those we’ve loved who have died. Join us for this poignant prayer service followed by dinner together. *Bring photos of your beloved dead to place on the altar.
November 17 – Dinner and a Movie, 5-8pm.
December 1 – Advent Wreath Making and Dinner, 5-8pm.
December 15 – Christmas Party, 5-8pm.
