St. Thomas Singers

St Thomas SingersFrom Labor Day through Pentecost, the St. Thomas Singers rehearse Thursday nights from 7:30 to 9:00 pm and sing at the 10:15 am Eucharist on Sunday mornings, as well as other occasions. Our repertoire is mainly classical (medieval, renaissance, baroque, classical period, romantic, modern, minimalist, and post-modern). It also includes some jazz, folk, contemporary, experimental, and music hot off the press by Charles Rus.

The Choristers practice on Tuesday afternoons beginning September 6: Jr Choristers 4:00 to 4:45 pm; Sr Choristers 4:45 to 5:45 pm. The Choristers regularly sing at the 10:15 Holy Eucharist and for special liturgies.

NeedlepointersChapel Needlepointers

Every Tuesday morning, a dedicated group meets to create needlepoint kneelers for the Chapel. Most of our kneelers are custom-designed for St. Thomas, and they are works of art as well as sources of practical comfort. We’re always looking for more stitchers; no experience necessary.

Community Concerts

St. Thomas sponsors occasional musical events ranging from a New Year’s Eve concert to jazz concerts to Gilbert & Sullivan performances. Also, the church is a favorite choice of several choral groups, whose concerts are included on the Special Events page.
