1 Corinthians 1:18. The message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

Lent is a time of contemplation and preparation for Easter.  It is focused on repentance - making a change in our attitudes, words and lifestyles.  Are you representing Christ in your words and actions?  Live it by expressing love, respect, reverence, caring for others, being peaceful, and having a consistent life of prayer. It is a time for focusing on the heart and for asking questions about our spiritual health.  Concentrate on showing mercy to others, offering compassion to those less fortunate. Repentance should characterize the Christian life setting aside time especially for this purpose.Lent is a time of contemplation and preparation for Easter.  It is focused on repentance - making a change in our attitudes, words and lifestyles.  Are you representing Christ in your words and actions?  Live it by expressing love, respect, reverence, caring for others, being peaceful, and having a consistent life of prayer. It is crucial to keep your eyes on Jesus as we are more accepted and forgiven than we would have ever hoped.  Jesus is our source of strength and we are being saved by the power of God.  Endeavor to renew your focus on the presence of God’s grace in your life and be thankful.
