WHO ARE WE?

The youth ministry of St. Thomas connects our youth to God, one another, and the world around them through service, fellowship, study, and of course, food! We believe that God is best served and sought by the work of our hands and the relationships we form along the way, and we take seriously the call articulated through the prophets; to “do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly”.

Youth @ St. Thomas is an affirming community open to all regardless of race, class, gender, sexual orientation, or the like. Whether you come with joy or doubt, you and your questions are welcome here. Our doors are always open. Come grow with us.

Ways to get involved...

SUNDAY MORNING FAITH FORMATION
Sundays, 9:05-10:15 AM; Breakfast Provided

Each Sunday morning during the school year (September through June), our youth gather from 9:05-10:15 AM in the Hayes Youth Center for breakfast together followed by either discussion or a hands-on service project activity. In 2018, youth broke ground on the St. Thomas Garden on the north entrance of the Ebsworth Life Center. During the warmer months, we tend to the garden all while discussing the ways in which our faith is tied to what we eat and the ways we choose to eat together. On rainier days, you may find our youth preparing meals for Sophia Way, baking communion bread together, or deep diving into matters of Christian faith and practice.

MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP
Sundays Once Monthly, 5-7 PM (Middle), 6-8 (High); Dinner Provided

Once a month we offer traditional evening youth group for grades 6-12 in the Hayes Youth Center, during which we play games, share a meal, and talk about matters of life and faith. Middle School meets from 5-7 PM, while High School meets from 6-8 PM. Our three-hour schedule gives youth the time to have age-appropriate conversations, while also allowing for relationships to form across all grades. In the overlapping hour, all students come together for games and a meal. Be sure to join our mailing list to keep up with our meeting times, or contact Associate for Youth, Ashley Boaeuf, directly at

SPECIAL EVENTS, SUMMER TRIPS & ONGOING PROJECTS

Of course, there is so much more in store than can be contained in a single building! During the year St. Thomas hosts special events and service trips for our youth including, but not limited to: domestic and international service trips, backpacking trips, lock-ins, movie nights, lazy days at the lake, and more! Check out the pictures below for a glimpse into who we are, how we are, and what we do!

Additionally, Youth @ St. Thomas operated an espresso bar in the Ebsworth Life Center throughout the year during coffee hour. All proceeds benefit youth programming and help offset costs of events.
