Adults at St. Thomas

From Sunday morning and Wednesday evening education classes, to groups devoted to Bible study or spiritual practices, there are many ways for adults to engage with the St. Thomas community and grow in their relationship with God. We value questions and exploration of different perspectives as we seek to make meaning of life and discover God’s presence in our lives.

Sunday Morning Adult Formation

Each Sunday morning from September-June, adults gather together to explore our faith together through engaging presentations and discussion. Topics and presenters change throughout the year, but you can be confident your mind and heart will be enlightened. Adult formation happens from 9:15-10:15 am in the Ebsworth Life Center.

Formation opportunities for children and youth happen at the same time as adult formation, so bring the whole family!

Wednesday Evening Programs

Wednesday evenings at St. Thomas are a time for community and learning. Enjoy a wonderful meal with the St. Thomas community and rich conversation to integrate faith into all parts of your life. These conversations include engaging presentations and small group discussion. Whether you are the type of person who wants to jump in and share your thoughts or you would rather sit back and listen, there is space for you. Dinner for the whole family begins at 6:00 pm. No-cost childcare is provided and a homework room is available during the presentation and discussion.

Wednesday evening programs take place several times each year. For details about our current presentation series, check out the upcoming events page.

Tuesday Morning Bible Study

We believe that study of the Bible builds a solid foundation upon which faith in Jesus Christ can grow. All are invited to join us at 10:45 am on Tuesday mornings to study the Bible with our clergy and others on a journey of faith.
