Each summer, youth from St. Thomas go out into the world to serve others, experience different people and cultures, and witness how God is at work in the world.  We call this a mission trip as we seek to live out our faith and join in the work God is doing through individuals, organizations, and the church to heal our broken world.

In August 2017, a group of 20 youth and adults from St. Thomas will be traveling to Guatemala to partner with an organization called Safe Passage that works in the community around the Guatemala City garbage dump to bring hope, education, and opportunity to children and families in extreme poverty.  While there, we will be assisting in school programs, learning about the history and culture of Guatemala, and discovering how God is at work around the world.

Join us on Saturday, June 3 to celebrate and support our 2017 mission team at our dinner fundraiser. Enjoy a fantastic Guatemalan-themed meal, learn about the history and culture of Guatemala, hear about the work of Safe Passage, the organization we partner with, and discover how our youth are transformed as they serve Christ in others near and far.  Tickets for the dinner are $35.
