Children @ St. Thomas

Children are always welcome at St. Thomas, from newborn through grade school. Plus, we offer many ways to involve children in ministry in our community. They can serve as acolytes, bread bakers, greeters, readers, or ushers.

Childcare (crawlers - age 3)

We welcome children of all ages in church, but we also offer childcare for those who want it. Our Childcare Coordinator is Danielle Brzusek.

Childcare is available on Sunday mornings from 9:00 to 11:45, and for many special events.

Sunday School (age 4 - 5th grade)

We use the Living the Good News curriculum and rotate Sunday school teachers on a monthly schedule. We split into three Sunday school classes: Preschool (Pre-K/K), Primary (grades 1-2), and Intermediate (grades 3-5). Our Preschoolers meet in the preschool room at St. Thomas School, through the east entrance and to the right. Our Primary class is held in the Conference Room, and our Intermediate class is held in the Parkside Room.

Kids' Club (grades 3-5)

This youth group for the younger set meets once a month after the 10:15 service for lunch, fun, community-building, and service projects. Kids' Club meets on the second Sunday of each month during the school year and always includes lunch.

Vacation Bible Camp
(age 4 - entering 5th grade)

Each July, we set aside a week of mornings to engage our children deeply in faith formation and fun community building.

Our next Vacation Bible Camp will be held July 30-August 3, 2012, with VBC Sunday on August 5
