Acolytes
Acolytes assist the flow of the liturgy in many ways: by carrying the
cross, torches, and Gospel book, and by helping make communion happen.
The minimum age for acolyte ministry is 3rd grade.

Altar Guild
This behind-the-scenes ministry provides all the necessary elements
of our liturgy: Eucharistic preparation, linens, and other visual
elements of worship.

Bread Bakers Guild
Our communion bread is home-baked weekly through this fun and easy
ministry that involves parishioners of all ages.

Eucharistic Ministers
This group serves at the Eucharist as chalice bearers and assists the
clergy as needed.

Flower Guild
This group arranges touches of visual beauty to enhance our worship
space. Flowers are often given in memory of those who have died or to
celebrate a special event. Training will be provided upon request.

Greeters
Welcoming people as they arrive for worship is central to the St.
Thomas mission of hospitality.

Healing Ministers
Drawing from ancient Christian practice, this ministry of the
baptized his ministry of the baptized provides prayers and laying on of
hands during the Eucharist for those in need of healing or thanksgiving.

Lectors
These people read the weekly lessons aloud to the congregation in
worship. Lector ministry is open to all ages.

Ushers
Ushers welcome people as they arrive for our liturgies, hand out
bulletins, take up the offering, and provide assistance to worshippers.
