Give New Life: Donate Blood!
Friday, May 9 (12 noon - 6 pm)
in the
Great Hall with Puget Sound Blood Center
We need 30 donors to make this happen!
Every two minutes, someone in our community needs blood. Yet fewer
than five percent of people who are able to give blood actually do so,
and most of them only give once a year.
During Easter season, as we celebrate Christ’s resurrection and new
life, donating blood takes on a deeper theological meaning. It is a true
act of Christian love. Blood is a living, unique human reality and can’t
adequately be substituted by artificial means.
Please join us in offering ourselves in the most profound way to give
new life to our human family.
To register, contact Judy:
judy@stthomasmedina.org or
425-454-9541 ... or sign up on the sheet in the Great Hall.

The
Day of Pentecost
Sunday, May 11
10:15 Eucharist
Wear red!
Balloons! Bagpipes! Dancers! Ice cream! St. Thomas
marks the birthday of the Church in style. Don't forget to wear
your brightest red to celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit.
This year, Pentecost also happens to be Mothers' Day.
Bring your mom to church!
The day will include a special Chapel Sunday for kids
ages 4-10: the Story of Pentecost. At the 10:15
Eucharist, after the procession of the bagpipes, kids are excused to the
Chapel and will rejoin the liturgy in time for baptisms.
